Description:
Angeline Morrison, a female folk singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and scholar based in Cornwall, Southwest England, has released a new album on the renowned British folk label Topic Records. Of African descent and a scholar, she has been researching "the issue of black identity in Britain," which has long been ignored in British history, since she was a university student. This album is based on the results of her research. Produced by Eliza Carthy, the "Princess of UK Folk," the album also features one song by Martin Carthy, Eliza's father and one of the leading guitarists and singers in the British traditional folk world. Please take a look.
