Four parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Wilyabrup and Walcliffe sub-regions, old vine Merlot and Petit Verdot both from Wilyabrup, were hand harvested and fermented with wild vineyard yeasts, hand plunged and gently basket pressed. The wine was aged for 21 months in subtle French oak barriques, 22% of which were new, and bottled unfined, unfiltered and unadulterated.

Elegant and pure with great complexity, this wine will drink well immediately and will also reward careful cellaring for many years to come.

A finely tuned interpretation of a blend that excels in Margaret River - 80% cabernet sauvignon, 15% merlot and 5% petit verdot, 21 months in French oak barriques (22% new). Nothing forced here, just a gentle wave of fragrance and flavour, filigreed tannins and refreshing acidity. Very classy.
