This really is a fabulous Victorian oval papier mache tray. The centre is hand painted with a bouquet of summer flowers including roses, pansies, honeysuckle and forget me nots. This is surrounded by a striking gilded border. The quality of the painting on this tray is outstanding, one of the best we have ever had. The condition of this antique tray is very good, the colours are bright, clear and crisp. This would make a very impressive drinks tray or could be displayed on a wall as it already has the original hanging facility.
