The twin of this dress was photoed for Vogue Italia in 1975 which giving us the exact date on it. Having that as a reference photo has the added bonus of giving you an idea of how great it is on a real body. It is made out of a light and airy silk cotton voile and this choice of fabric gives the print a pretty washed feel and slight transparency. The dress is cut to flow over the body in a loose and easy fashion. It sits, suspended from the shoulder, with elastic running all through the neckline. This allows you to wear it on or off the shoulder. The sleeves are long and full and each has an elastic gathering so they balloon up over the cuff. The body is very full with the hem is finished with a wide ruffle that has that same beautiful floral print as the rest of the dress. It is so pretty and volume seems to be once again in fashion so it feels very relevant yet again. You can easily add a belt to give it more shape and a totally different feel. Excellent condition.

The body of the dress is lined in a nude silk chiffon and the sleeves are unlined. It slips over the head to wear with elastic through the neckline. Tagged a 38 but will fit virtually any size
