1950s 50s Nelly Don Blue plaid day dress. VFG Bust 40. Tab accents. Straight sheath dress.

FEATURES:

This dress has been freshened using home dry cleaning kit as I do not have a reliable dry cleaner in area. I recommend dry cleaning by a professional.

Rayon Dress with moire pattern made of dark Navy plaid.

Matching belt included.

Tab and button accent on one side of the collar and hip buttons.

Button down through hips. Step-in.

Straight style.

CONDITION:

Used- Beautiful cut, but this dress does have a patch ironed on the wrong side of dress to “tack” the three tiny holes shown in photograph. I didn’t notice it from the front. This dress also has a couple of “shiny” areas (about inch in diameter) on front bodice near hem/buttons (see photo) possibly from pressing. They are slightly lighter than area plaid design. Belt also is slightly lighter in tone than dress.

The photos are lightened and you can see the sheen of fabric especially in bust area but I think this is just from the Moire finish of fabric. I don’t see it other than in photos. Photos are lightened to show detail and plaid design, but it is actually very dark in color and plaid design is only seen up close.

So used, and patched, lightly flawed but still lots of life left.
