The HVBS-710G uses hardened and ground drive shaft and worm gears to move power from the motor to the blade wheels. This geared system maintains torque through the cut without the slippage that belt-driven setups can introduce. In daily shop use, that means the blade keeps moving steadily through solid stock without bogging down.

Swiveling Head Keeps Stock Stationary Through Every Miter

The saw head pivots from 0° to 45° while the bed and vise stay fixed. You lock your material in place once and swing the head to the angle you need. That setup eliminates the repositioning and re-clamping that adds time and introduces error when cutting multiple pieces to the same miter angle.

Hydraulic Downfeed System Controls Cut Rate Through the Material

The fully adjustable hydraulic downfeed manages how quickly the blade descends into the workpiece. Slower feed rates reduce blade wear on harder materials and help maintain a cleaner cut face. You set the rate for the material and let the system do the work without standing over the saw to manage feed pressure by hand.

Built-In Blade Brush Clears Chips and Extends Blade Life

A self-propelled blade brush runs against the blade continuously during operation to clear metal chips from the tooth gullets before they re-enter the cut. Chips packed into the gullets dull teeth faster and can cause the blade to wander. Keeping the blade clean through the cut helps maintain both blade life and cut quality over time.
