This is due to the super-extra low dispersion and extra low dispersion elements used in the lens’s optical design, which help to deliver the kind of quality you would expect from a lens that is more expensive and considerably larger in size.

XF55-200mmF3.5-4.8 R LM OIS features an all-metal construction with large zoom and manual focusing rings that turn extremely smoothly. The lens aperture ring is also precisely engineered to accurately adjust the lens aperture in one-third stops, ensuring accurate exposures and complete creative control.

Focusing in as little as 0.28 sec, XF55-200mmF3.5-4.8 R LM OIS uses two linear motors to offer a dazzling autofocus performance. Equally impressive is the on-board Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS), which provides up to 4.5 stops of vibration reduction to help minimize camera shake when the camera is being used hand-held in low-light or at slower shutter speeds.
