II Field Force, Vietnam was a United States Army Corps-level command during the Vietnam War — activated on 15 March 1966, it became the largest corps command in Vietnam and one of the largest in Army history. Assigned the lineage of the XXII Corps from the European Theater of Operations in World War II, II Field Force was a component of U.S. Military Assistance Command Vietnam (MACV) with its headquarters at Long Binh.
At its peak, II Field Force controlled multiple divisions and separate brigades across III Corps Tactical Zone — coordinating some of the most significant operations of the Vietnam War, including operations in War Zone C, War Zone D, and the Iron Triangle.
