EDIUS PTZ4Kb 4K 60p 30x PTZ Camera with Auto Tracking, Black

The successor of the legendary Grass Valley Broadcast PTZ 35X HD Camera is produced by the same production facility as the Grass Valley model, but is not labeled “Grass Valley” anymore, which makes the camera cheaper. At the same time, the new 30x zoom model with the new sensor is significantly more powerful and now has some features that were missing from the previous 35x zoom model. It could, for example, output a maximum of UHD 30p, the new model now also creates 50 or 60p in UHD. The new model also has an audio line-in to feed external sound, which was completely missing in the predecessor. The new model now offers HDMI 2.0, the SDI connection is still 3G. The new camera now also masters NDI Version 5 and SRT and instead of a USB 3.0 connection there is now a modern USB-C connection. The real highlight of the new camera is the auto-tracking function, which is presented in detail in the YouTube video below. This makes it possible for the camera to automatically follow, pan and zoom a person. Without the need for an extra cameraman. How the camera should behave can be set in a own web interface. For example, it is possible to select the desired setting size (e.g., close-up or long shot), to define the desired position of the tracked person in the image (left, right or centered), for example to film a screen alongside a person, or between two people in the picture to switch back and forth.
