xTool P2S can also engrave glass! This fixture can sit inside the P2S and make fixturing drinking glasses very easy!

Upgrade your XTool F1 laser cutter and engraver with this engraving fixture (as seen in the videos above) and increase your production efficiency, accuracy and repeatability.

The XTool F1 is compatible with the XTool RA2 rotary module which would allow you to process cylindrical objects. However, there may be some circumstances where the RA2 is not suitable such as many whiskey or drinking glasses that are not completely cylindrical.

Additionally, in most cases with the whiskey or other drinking glasses, the logo or graphic being engraved is small enough that a rotary is not necessary and this style of fixture will be faster to set up.

This fixture features a positive V-block style end stop for the mouth of the glass so the position is repeatable. It also features two V-shaped tabs of different heights to support the end of the glass in many different positions. Therefore, you can change the position of the tabs to accommodate glasses with varying tapers as seen in the video. Everything from fully cylindrical to highly tapered shapes are possible to process now!

You can also turn your glass upside down and the fixture will hold a 90mm diameter mouth glass in the center position so you can engrave the bottom of the glass as seen in the video. This is great for branding your glasses. Link to the exact whiskey glasses from the video can be found below.

The fixture locates the center axis of your glass object with the center of the work area so alignment in the software is easy (just center your graphic).

This kit also includes the corresponding digital template to load into XTool Creative Space software (or Lightburn). (Be sure to enter your email address on checkout to receive the files!) Then you can overlay your graphics so there is no more guess work when it comes to matching the position of your materials in physical space and in the software workspace.

In addition to the XTOOL F1 - these jigs can be used in a similar way with the XTool S1. Although the S1 does not have a pocket for them to sit, they make material alignment very easy with the S1's "two point positioning" system - especially with round or oddly shaped objects.

1. Place the fixture and your material in the work space. Use the focus probe to touch down on your work piece.
2. Capture the top left and bottom right corners of these fixtures using the two point positioning.
3. Import the digital templates into XTool Creative Space. Align the templates with the bounding box created with the two point positioning measurement.
4. Overlay your design onto the corresponding area of the fixture and set your material parameters. 
5. Process.

If you purchase multiple fixtures you can panelize them in your workspace to batch process materials for efficiency.
