Jalapenos can add an awesome pepper flavor to beer without the heat if prepared correctly. I've enjoyed adding a layer of earthy pepper flavor to our Smoked Porter with much success. Prep the Jalapenos by completely removing all of the seeds and pith (white stuff) from the peppers until you just have the pepper flesh. Add to secondary and age 1-2 weeks to taste!
