Made with Sweet Almond and Mānuka Oil and beeswax from our beehives, this Kawakawa Balm is the natural and native skincare remedy perfect for dry lips and skin irritations (eczema and psoriasis), bites, sores, and nappy rash.

Directions:

Apply Kawakawa Balm 2-3 times a day to irritated skin and then daily as the skin begins to heal. For dry/chapped skin and lips, apply a pea-size amount as needed throughout the day.

Science:
Macropiper excelsum, better known as Kawakawa, is incredibly healing. Research shows that it decreases inflammatory markers of nitric oxide as it possesses the bioactive constituents Myrsitcin and Diayangambin, which are anti-inflammatory. When your Aotea Kawakawa Balm is applied the bioactive properties seep into the inflamed or damaged tissue to reduce swelling and aid the healing process. Further, the beeswax creates a natural protective seal and the mānuka oil is deeply cleansing.
