Introducing a beautifully proportioned Victorian mahogany wood chest of drawers, designed to seamlessly blend elegance with practicality. This stunning piece showcases a classic aesthetic, featuring two short drawers above three long drawers of varying heights. Each drawer is enhanced with wooden pulls, hand-cut dovetail joints, and solid wood bottoms.

The chest has undergone meticulous restoration, which includes stripping, cleaning, and re-staining, with hard wax oil applied for protection. The raw wooden drawers have been treated with a nourishing wood balm that imparts a subtle citrus scent while revitalising the wood's natural beauty.

This chest of drawers is structurally solid and in good condition overall, exhibiting some signs of age that only enhance its charm. The side panels do show cracks from wood shrinkage over the years, but these do not affect the stability or structure of the piece. Additionally, there are minor historic signs of woodworm that have been professionally treated, ensuring the integrity of this exquisite item.

Nationwide delivery is available.

We arrange delivery with one of our trusted furniture couriers - this will generally be a one-man service and help will be needed to unload the item at the buyer’s home.  If a two-man service is required there may be an extra charge. 

We charge a flat rate of £60 for delivery to mainland UK.  For Highlands, Islands and Ireland, please contact us for an accurate quote prior to purchase.

Collection is also welcome near Reading.  For smaller items we send via an insured postal courier.
