Qingbai Glaze, also known as YingQing(Shadowy blue) glaze. It’s a glaze created in Jingdezhen during Song Dynasty, and this is the glaze starts Jingdezhen’s legend. Qingbai glaze is a kind of white glaze with a hint of blue shine, it earned it’s nickname as Pretend Jade. 

This is handmade by one of our studios, called QingKe Xuan 清可轩 in Jingdezhen. The studio signature is on the bottom of the cup. This studio strictly follows the traditional Jingdezhen techniques, with the exception of using an electric kiln for firing.
