Mode of Action: bite away® is a patented medical device for the symptomatic treatment of itching, pain, and swelling caused by insect bites and stings. The devices work just with concentrated heat, completely chemical-free. The contact surface consists of ceramic, is hygienic, disinfectable, and ideally suited for allergy sufferers.

How it works: The ceramic contact surface of bite away is placed on the bite or sting. After activation of one of the two buttons (3 seconds for children* / 5 seconds for adults) a temperature in the region of 51°C is reached for the selected time. If the symptoms fail to disappear completely, treatment should be repeated until no further symptoms are seen. A pause of 10 seconds is to be observed before repeat treatment.

Direction: Bite Away is placed with its ceramic contact surface on the puncture site or insect bite. The duration of heat exposure of approximately 51 °C can affect the user by selecting the respective button; either 3 seconds for sensitive skin or 5 seconds for regular use.
