Description

The Shapton RockStar series is a 10mm solid ceramic sharpening stone — no glass backing plate, just a full-depth ceramic abrasive block of equivalent quality to the GlassStone range. No soaking required.

The 8000 grit is the standard finishing stone — used after the 4000 to bring the edge to a clean, razor-sharp, polished finish ready for stropping and shaving. This version includes a stainless steel case that stores and protects the stone when not in use.

GlassStone vs RockStar: The RockStar series is a 10mm solid ceramic stone. The GlassStone series features a 5mm tempered glass plate laminated to a 5mm ceramic abrasive layer. Both deliver equivalent sharpening quality.

How to Use: Splash the stone with water before use. Work the blade at a consistent angle in smooth, even strokes. Strop thoroughly before shaving.
