Geyser Peak Merlot is a rounded, soft wine with ripe red and black fruit flavours. The nose shows notes of raspberry, whilst the palate adds cherry and blackberry. The plentiful fruit and relatively low acidity make the wine feel plush and fruity in the mouth while well-rounded tannins lend structure to the full palate. About 14% of the blend is made up of other varieties such as Petit Verdot and Petite Syrah which add their own complexity to the finish. For maximum enjoyment, this wine is best served ever so slightly below room temperature.
