Our Israeli Za'atar can be used as a condiment, simply stirred with olive oil and served on flatbread, and you can also incorporate it in many authentic dishes. Unlike our Syrian Za'atar which is more sumac-heavy, this Israeli version contains toasted sesame seeds and goes nicely on meatballs, kebabs, and veggies. It also makes a wonderful dry rub for roasted chicken. If you want a snack, sprinkle some over your popcorn for a unique taste.
Try it with: Hummus, meatballs, kebabs, cucumber salad, and chicken.
How it’s crafted: Simple yet delicious, this blend features freshly ground thyme which is then mixed with white sesame seeds, sumac, and a pinch of salt.
