Assembling and experimenting with the Genesis Kit guides us from the flow of electrons, through the testing and application of a variety of electronic components, and finally on to the operation of semiconductor transistors. After reviewing the use of transistors to implement logic gates, we combine simple logic gates to demonstrate a binary adder. This basic building block of computation is cascaded to implement a full adder demonstration platform.
