The Atom

The Atom is a straight flyer with enormous potential off the tee and on long approaches. Right off the shelf, the Atom has a neutral stability with just a bit of fade. In premium GYRO® plastics the Atom will retain its neutral stability indefinitely. The Atom will wear into an extremely straight and floaty putter, with extra tactile feedback inside the circle or in adverse weather.

The Uplink

Nestled into the perfect sweet spot of understability for a wide variety of arm speeds, the Uplink is destined to take its place among the great line-shaping midranges. The Uplink will be carving touch anhyzers or sweet hyzer-flips through the woods for experienced players. Lower arm speed players will find the Uplink to be an extremely straight and controllable midrange — something they can learn the game with. Whether you’re looking for a disc to help your scrambles and approaches, or something to complement your finesse touch game, the Uplink has you covered.

The Inertia

The Inertia’s flight path is characterized by a responsive understable flight with reliable fade. Newer players will find the Inertia to be a workable straight to understable long precision driver. Its understable and fade properties make the Inertia highly useable for lower-powered throwers seeking distance and control, and its forward kick-in fade allows more experienced throwers to carve pinpoint distance lines.

R2 Neutron Plastic

R2 Neutron is MVP’s first step towards making disc golf a more reusable and environmentally sustainable sport. Replicating the look and feel of classic Neutron, R2 Neutron – as a combination of many colors of Neutron plastic – will only be available in black cores with white rims (to differentiate from the classic MVP lineup). R2 Neutron discs will fly the same as their Neutron counterparts, but with the benefit of being more eco friendly.

The Science of Gyro

MVP's GYRO® Overmold Technology is a design that is produced through a two-step molding process that allows the outer ring to be made with a heavier material. The process of transferring mass away from the axis of rotation increases the disc’s moment of inertia at parabolic proportions.

Since linear and angular momentum and aerodynamics act upon each other simultaneously, an enhanced gyroscopic effect will improve all aspects of disc flight. Increased angular momentum of a disc in flight will allow the disc to stay on its rotational axis for a longer period of time, which means that its aerodynamic properties will be better exhibited for a longer period of time. When a thrower uses our discs, they will be able to achieve straighter, longer, and more accurate results.
