Preparation: Lift the vehicle and remove the rear wheels.
Safety First: Before removing the old caps, ensure the rear suspension is at full droop to minimize tension on the spring plate.
Removal: Unbolt the four M10 factory bolts and remove the old stamped caps. This is the perfect time to clean the torsion tube flange and inspect your bushings.
Bushing Check: If your original rubber bushings are compressed or cracked, consider replacing them with high-performance urethane units for better handling.
Alignment: Position the Foose Billet Cap over the spring plate. The precision machining ensures a tight, vibration-free fit.
Secure: Install the included M10 fasteners.
Pro Tip: To protect the high-polish finish, place a thin piece of plastic wrap or painter's tape over the bolt heads before using your socket or wrench.
Torque: Tighten in a star pattern to approximately 25–30 ft-lbs.
